John Carlon is a Partner and leads the firm’s Washington DC office. Additionally, he leads Stunsl’s Information Technology practice. He has two years of consulting experience with Stunsl and previously served for 12 years in executive Finance and IT roles within manufacturing companies serving the aerospace and semiconductor industries.    

 

Mr. Carlon has focused his consulting practice on implementing integrated manufacturing, operations, business processes, cost accounting, and technology-based solutions that deliver sustained performance improvement.   

 

Prior to entering the Management Consulting profession, Mr. Carlon served in a variety of hands-on executive positions and was responsible for multiple successful software (ERP) implementations, development of mission-critical business applications, and post-acquisition integration of IT and global business processes yielding significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.

 

During the early portion of his career Mr. Carlon managed finance and information systems and held system analyst and accounting roles at mid-sized companies. 

 

Mr. Carlon is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and is proficient in several database management systems, development environments, and accounting/ERP systems.

 

Mr. Carlon has an MBA, Master of Accountancy, and BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and speaks Korean fluently.
